  • GDPR / CCPA data subject inquiries and privacy compliance requests
Data Accuracy & RFC 8805

Report an IP location error or VPN false positive

IP routing changes constantly as ISPs reallocate subnets and cloud providers spin up new PoPs. If an IPv4 or IPv6 prefix is geolocated to the wrong city or flagged as a commercial VPN/proxy when it is corporate or residential traffic, tell us and we will verify and override it.

  • Dashboard & API submissions: Authenticated users can submit structured overrides from dashboard.ipscope.io/help/support or programmatically via POST /v1/feedback.
  • RFC 8805 Self-Published Geofeeds: Network operators (ASNs) can register a public CSV geofeed URL once; our pipeline validates RPKI/IRR ownership and syncs changes daily.
  • 05:40 UTC Nightly Cutover: Approved corrections take effect immediately on the live API and ship in the next day’s .mmdb, .csv.gz, and .parquet builds.
# Option 1: Submit via the authenticated API (or Dashboard -> Support)
curl -X POST https://api.ipscope.io/v1/feedback \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer ips_live_..." \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \

Support & billing FAQ

Quick answers on Stripe invoices, subscription cancellations, refund eligibility, and IP data overrides. Still need help? Write to [email protected].

How do I cancel my subscription or download a Stripe invoice?

Sign in to dashboard.ipscope.io, open Settings -> Billing, and click "Manage on Stripe". From the hosted Stripe Billing Portal you can download past PDF invoices and receipts, update your VAT/Tax ID or payment method, or cancel auto-renewal in one click. You can also email [email protected] with your account email and we will handle it for you.

What is your refund policy for API subscriptions and database licenses?

First-time monthly or annual API subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 14 calendar days of the initial charge, provided less than 10% of the plan’s monthly lookup quota has been consumed. Unused prepaid wallet top-ups are refundable within 14 days if untouched. Downloadable database licenses (.mmdb, .csv.gz, .parquet) are refundable before the first snapshot download token is redeemed; once downloaded, digital dataset files are non-refundable. Full details are in Section 5 of our Terms of Service.

An IP address or subnet is showing the wrong location or a false-positive VPN flag. How do I fix it?

Network operators and customers can submit corrections either from the Dashboard (Support -> IP Data Correction), via POST /v1/feedback, or by emailing [email protected] with the CIDR block, expected ISO country/city, and ASN. If you publish an RFC 8805 geofeed CSV in your WHOIS/RDAP remarks:, send us the URL once and our ingestion pipeline will poll it automatically every 24 hours.

How quickly do approved IP geolocation or VPN overrides go live?

Once our verification pipeline confirms the BGP origin ASN, rDNS hints, and active RTT measurements, the override is promoted immediately to the live API overlay and compiled into the next nightly database snapshot at 05:40 UTC.

How can I opt my network prefixes out of active measurement probes?

Email [email protected] with the IPv4 or IPv6 CIDR prefixes you administer. We add verified operator opt-outs to our global probe exclusion list within 24 hours.
