Corrections & support

How to submit an IP geolocation or VPN correction and how to reach the IPScope engineering team.

Questions, bug reports, and architecture inquiries go directly to [email protected], where an engineer answers every message.

# Submitting an IP geolocation or VPN correction

You can submit corrections programmatically via POST /v1/feedback or by emailing [email protected].

  • False-positive VPN / proxy report: include the IP address or CIDR prefix, ASN, and confirmation that the address belongs to an end-user access network.
  • Geolocation update (RFC 8805 geofeed): include the CIDR prefix, two-letter ISO country code, subdivision, city, and a link to your published RFC 8805 CSV geofeed if available.

Verified corrections are included in the next nightly dataset build and propagate to both the REST API and downloadable database artifacts automatically.
